The Regency Smoking Cessation Program

Smoking, and nicotine addiction is the most preventable form of disability and death, simply, because we choose not to do it. Yet, smoking kills more than 400,000 people in the US and as many as 20% of the adult population continue to smoke.

The Regency is very pleased to offer a significant program of hope and care to all smokers. Under the direction of our Health Director, Dr. Frank Sabatino, the Regency has created a 5 Day Smoking Cessation Program.

The Regency Smoking Cessation Program Includes:

  • Juice Detoxification
  • Exercise
  • Stress Management Techniques, including Tai Chi and Yoga
  • 5 Consecutive Daily Therapeutic Sessions with Dr. Sabatino

In the private sessions with Dr. Sabatino, he utilizes a combination of chiropractic care and auriculotherapy. he uses a chiropractic approach called Torque Release Technique to tonify and balance the brain and nervous system. This technique is remarkably successful and the only chiropractic approach that was developed from a controlled study of addiction conducted by the Holder Research Institute and the University of Miami School of Medicine.

In addition, he also utilizes auriculotherapy to provide specific frequencies of low-intensity electric stimulation to reflex points in the ear that promote neurological balance and reduce anxiety, depression and craving. In the daily sessions, Dr. Sabatino will also share breathing exercises and stress management tools that will enhance your success. A specific supplementation program will also be recommended as a take-home program to provide nutritional and biochemical support at home.

This comprehensive program can truly help you stop smoking, while significantly reducing the pain and discomfort of withdrawal, and preventing relapse in the future. Take charge of your health and give us a chance to help you.

If you're a smoker and you want to stop but just don't know how, a stay at the Regency Wellness Resort may be for you. We recommend a visit of not less than 7 days and preferably 2 weeks to stop the habit of smoking. Some individuals may require more time.
